Bank Builds and Renovation Projects Start with Information Gathering

The Element Group has managed hundreds of bank construction projects from new builds to renovations, and it’s our keen sense of design awareness which drives each project success. Working in partnership with architects and designers who specialize in bank schematics we oversee the intricate planning and design activities beginning with an information gathering phase, schematic discussions, design development, and construction.

The Customer Experience

Information Gathering – A Step by Step Process

  • Initiate intensive management discussions to determine strategic direction.
  • Build consensus and explore customer strategies including: brand issues, products, services, physical and electronic network

Schematic Design

The activities that define this phase consist of the development of concepts and ideas into plans and designs for the environmental space within the designated site. The specific areas include; programing, layouts, sketches, brand treatment and budgets.

Design Development

The design development phase is a chance to integrate established concepts with retail strategies, maximizing the effective use of space to create a positive selling environment with regards to both building exterior and interior.

Design strategies consider:

  • Customer traffic patterns
  • Dwelling points
  • Lines of sight
  • Technology deployment
  • Bank sales culture
  • Merchandising

Construction Documentation

Physical project development is rendered via computer generated drawings essential to bank design and construction execution. The drawings and specifications are used as the guide for precise communications to the client, general contractors and subcontractors and used for the competitive bid process, local permitting and building construction from start to finish.
